WB Council of Higher Secondary Education announced Class 12th results for 2025 at a press conference held at Vidyasagar Bhavan, Salt Lake, Kolkata, at 1 PM. Senior board officials presented key highlights including the overall pass percentage, names of top-performing students, and district-wise performance. Subsequently, WB Board 12th results became accessible online starting from 2 PM on the official websites, wbchse.wb.gov.in and wbresults.nic.in, allowing the 4,73,919 students who appeared for the exams to check their scores.
This year witnessed a pass rate of 90.79% out of the total candidates, with 4,30,286 students successfully clearing the examination, marking a slight increase from the previous year's 90%. Notably, Science students achieved the highest pass percentage at 99.46%, followed by Commerce at 97.52%, and Arts at 88.25%.
For those seeking hard copies of their mark sheets and pass certificates, schools can collect them from 55 designated distribution centers across West Bengal starting at 10 AM on May 8th. To pass the HS examination, a minimum score of 33% is required, and students who are not satisfied with their results will have the opportunity to apply for scrutiny.
